No. Nothing on this site registers, reserves or checks the availability of a name. The card is a picture of the name you want. How names are first allocated will be published before registration opens.
No. It is an example address generated from the name you typed, and it is labelled Example everywhere it appears. It is not connected to any wallet. Never send anything to it.
Lookalike characters make names easy to fake. Sticking to a to z, 0 to 9 and hyphens keeps carter.hood looking like carter.hood and nothing else. Wider character support may come later, once there are protections for it.
